After dyeing, the hide is lightly polished with a special oil application to give it a soft, smooth and translucent finish with a dramatic wax-crackle effect that improves with age. This leather may exhibit natural characteristics such as scars, wrinkles and brands, making each piece truly unique, with subtle variations. Gently dry dust on a regular basis with a clean, soft cloth, or use a vacuum with a soft attachment. For stubborn stains, gently blot the area using distilled water and a cloth. Do not rub the area, since it could change the look of the leather. Keep natural leather away from direct sunlight to avoid fading and direct heat sources, such as vents, to avoid drying it out.
