Long known in the industry as the designer of sumptuous ribbons and accessories, Donna Stevens is known for combining exclusive embroideries with gorgeous fabrics including taffeta, burlap, sheers, velvet, and Dupioni silk. In 2007, she joined her sister Darlene and brother-in-law Rod to launch d. stevens, a business that conceives and creates ribbon, pillows, trims, and Austrian crystal ribbon slides for the home. They do this with their own signature palettes and flourishes.
Natives of New Orleans, Stevens and her sister share a passion for flowers and eclectic French style. Donna fell in love with fabrics and embroideries at an early age. It was only natural that she would transform her love of fabric and design into a company of her own.
